Royal Family Kids Camp

Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) is a free one-week resident summer camp in our local mountains for children in foster care that cultivates joy, resilience, hope and positive memories! Our campers, ages 7-11, with a history of abuse or neglect, benefit from a safe and fun camp environment designed just for them. All of our activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our campers experience loving connections & life-giving experiences through safe relationships.
Camper activities include: swimming, dancing, music, a talent show, cookies with “grandma and grandpa”, engaging Bible stories, thoughtful activities and process-based art projects, cabin stories, dress-up, games on the lawn, lizard catching, tea parties, and an unforgettable “Everybody’s Birthday” party celebration.

Our goal is to take 35 campers to a free week of camp from August 4-9th this summer, 2024!

This is where YOU come in.

We’re looking for 60 volunteers to fill a variety of roles; individuals who are teachable, considerate, reliable, team-oriented and enjoy children! Our desire is to treat each camper like royalty by providing a staff of volunteers that feels like family.
We train, equip and empower our volunteers to become trauma-informed advocates for foster children. There are many ways you can partner with us to make an impact on the lives of these very special kids!
What can you do to make a difference in the life of a child? If you feel a heart tug, we would love to connect with you!
